Brook Byers

Brook Byers, a senior partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), has helped start up more than 50 ventures based on new technology. Byers joined KPCB in 1977, and in 1984, formed the first life sciences practice group in venture capital. He has served on the boards of directors of biotech companies as well as the UCSF Medical Foundation, the New Schools Foundation, and Stanford’s Bio-X.
